About

Psychedelic Salad Records (PSR) is an independent record label based in Lutruwita/Tasmania, Australia.

PSR began in 2017 as an online resource connecting independent bands with venues, promoters and touring opportunities around the world. In 2020, the project evolved into a record label focused on pressing the music we love onto vinyl.

Since then, PSR has released nineteen limited-run vinyl titles from artists across Australia and internationally. The catalogue has grown from its original psychedelic, stoner and doom foundations to encompass post-punk, shoegaze, dream pop, psych folk and other forms of alternative music.

In recent years, the label has increasingly focused on supporting artists from Tasmania, working closely with local bands and musicians to release their music and connect them with audiences beyond the island.

PSR also works with independent labels, distributors and record stores in Australia and overseas, helping releases find their way into the hands of listeners and collectors around the world.
