About the Artist
Formed in Tokyo in 2013, Bahboon have spent more than a decade developing their own take on heavy psychedelic and stoner rock. Their music draws on the riff-driven tradition of bands such as Black Sabbath and Kyuss while incorporating a strong sense of groove and psychedelic experimentation. Thunder Ape marked the band’s tenth anniversary and a new phase in their musical evolution.
