About the Release
999 to 666 TS Street marked a major reinvention for Brazilian psychedelic rock band Firefriend, moving away from their earlier work to capture the raw energy of their rehearsals and live shows. Drawing on the noise, freedom and cultural upheaval of the 1960s while reflecting the band’s own experiences in São Paulo, the album combines fuzzed-out psychedelia, garage rock and experimental textures with a restless, rebellious energy. Originally released on CD in 2011, this edition brings the album to vinyl for the first time.
