About the Release
Heliopolis is an instrumental journey through heavy riffs, hypnotic grooves and expansive space-rock atmosphere. Built around fuzzed-out guitars, rolling bass and pounding drums, the album gradually moves from grounded stoner-rock weight into more spacious and exploratory territory, with a strong sci-fi character running throughout. The result is a patient, immersive listen that balances heaviness with a sense of cosmic scale.

About the Artist
Lambda are an instrumental post/stoner band from Český Krumlov, Czech Republic, formed in 2014. The band’s four members — Tomáš Zimmermann, Václav Ruttkay, Matěj Kraussl and Filip Faschingbauer — build their music around heavy guitar riffs, repetition and expansive instrumental passages, drawing on stoner rock, doom and post-rock. Heliopolis was their first full-length album.
