Jinete del Sur is the debut full-length from Dominican trio Múcaro, combining sludge, doom and stoner rock with psychedelic and experimental textures. About the Artist
Formed in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Múcaro are a three-piece comprising Josué García (guitar and vocals), Rubén Mahfoud (bass) and Manuel Mueses (drums). The band describes its music as sludge, doom, experimental and psychedelic, with their sound built around dense riffs, heavy grooves and an exploratory approach. Jinete del Sur followed their 2017 EP I and established Múcaro as part of the emerging heavy psychedelic scene in the Dominican Republic.
