How did you first get into psych / stoner / doom?
We first got into it as teenagers when listening to QOTSA’s ‘Songs for the Deaf’ for the first time. It’s an LP that is perfect from the start, because every song on that album is just so right in the way to play it and also the songs are in a perfect order!
After that, we started to discover so many other bands from many different time periods!
What’s the most psychedelic experience you’ve ever had?
Just being on tour with ELECTRIC JAGUAR BABY – you are in a completely different world and sometimes it turns into a really psychedelic experience!
The most psychedelic experience at a concert would have to be Kikagaku Moyo – they brought the damn electric sitar to the next level!
What’s the best thing about the psych / stoner / doom community?
Everybody is just here for the music, the fuzz and the beers. The people in the community are also very curious about the genre and don’t hesitate to discover new or small bands and share them, whether they’re famous or not.
DOOM ON, FUZZ ON.
